Kalen Marie Consulting
Kalen Arreola, OIF veteran, is also the owner of Kalen Marie Consulting, where she helps small businesses increase revenue.
Her love of vintage movies and fashion has been engrained since youth, but she was so involved in the military that she was not involved in the pin-up culture in the United States. Following the suicide of a fellow female Soldier, she thought there needed to be a support group that put a smile on faces both young and old, and that was fun. She quickly linked up with a whole community of people who love vintage clothing, music, furniture — and who are extremely patriotic people as well.
Her desire to choose vintage clothing was because of its modesty, and classic beauty. Clothes from the 1940s-era are timeless, and can be mixed with modern looks. Our girls work hard to achieve a classy look that brings back the nostalgia from the WWII-era; and that same spirit of a country united in service.
Since 2010, Pinups for Patriots has operated as a for-profit. We realized that getting nonprofit status is crucial to being able to do more for our nation’s heroes. In June 2015, Pinups for Patriots officially filed as a California nonprofit, and is now awaiting 501(c)3 tax exempt approval.
