Welcome! My name is Jeanice Manning. I am the Oklahoma Platoon Chapter Leader. I currently live in Enid, Oklahoma which is northwestern part of Oklahoma. I am married with two children and I encourage all who are interested in joining our chapter to do so!
I am a big supporter for our military, veterans, and emergency responders. I have worked many years with many different Air Force bases around the world. As a civilian, I have seen firsthand what many soldiers have to go through to serve our country and keep us safe from harm. Flying back to the United States from Europe on a military aircraft, traveling with wounded soldier’s right next to me, and hearing their stories, has driven me to want to do my part and serve those who serve our country. What’s more fun than giving back by raising money, providing support, bringing overall happiness and having fun with 50’s fashions!
In joining our chapter, you will not only be doing a big service to those who need and deserve our help and support, you will also be a part of a group of women who inspire and encourage each other. We become friends who are more like sisters. You will be a part of many different events that you will take part in throughout the year. We also have a National Conference each year that you will be able to attend and we can fundraise to pay for this!
We are currently trying to participate in one event each month. Our events will include things like: meet and greets, a pinup contest, car shows, base events, selling calendars, community events, and many more. We are a new chapter, so we are learning and developing many new relationships within our community and getting the word out. So far, I have had a huge response from many organizations and businesses wanting to donate services to us. I also have had great success with women interesting in become a part of the platoon.
